Terrell Davis 1.jpg

Terrell Davis is an educational leader with over 20 years of successful and impactful experience. His education experiences include:

Communication and Theater Arts teacher, Building Leadership experience, District Diversity Trainer and national conference speaker and presenter. Mr. Davis has experience ranging from small, rural communities to large urban districts. With this broad experience, he is equipped to support and develop districts and school leadership regardless of location or school size.

He is a former recipient of the Kansas Middle School Principal fo the Year award. He has led the largest academic improvement in a single year and has led the greatest turn-around from the lowest-performing middle school in the state to being named the middle school of the year in five short years.

finally, Mr. Davis has had great experience in closing the achievement gap with African American students and eliminating the gap with Hispanic students at his various professional assignments. 

Mr. Davis is a graduate of Oral Roberts University with an Educational Specialist degree.

Phyllis Cottner is an educator with over 23 years of experience.  Her educational experience includes: Special Education Teacher, Instructional Coach, Cultural Proficiency District Coach, Multi-Tiered System of Support Lead Coach and Curriculum and Instruction Lead for Equity, Diversity and Magnet Programming.  Ms. Cottner’s teaching career in Wichita Public School system, the largest school district in Kansas, provides a rich background of working with successfully with a diverse student population.

In addition to content knowledge, Phyllis has long held a passion for presenting staff development that causes educators to think and wrestle with the inequities that are often present in the educational systems in which we live.  She recognizes the importance of presenting research-based, practical strategies that will support teachers in transforming classrooms to true learning communities for ALL students.
